During a recent appearance on Kelly Ripa’s podcast, Let’s Talk Off Camera, actor Henry Winkler shared a story about receiving a personal video from Jelly Roll following a fan letter he sent to the country superstar. “It was the most amazing thing that came from you and that he answered,” the 78-year-old Hollywood legend gushed to Ripa. Winkler then explained the backstory, “I write thank you notes or fan notes and I wrote one to Jelly Roll. And I never thought I would hear back and all of a sudden I got a video from Kelly of Mr. Roll thanking me.” Ripa shared Jelly’s video with the audience, capturing him saying, in part, “Hey Mr Winkler, it’s Jelly Roll. I’m just sending my love. I got a note and they said it was from you. I cannot tell you how much that meant to me. I’m absolutely honored, Mr Winkler, I can’t wait to see you and hopefully give you a hug, man. I’m a big hugger.” (People)
