There is going to be a lot of star power featured on Cody Johnson’s next single. His tender ballad, “I’m Gonna Love You,” is set to be released on September 27, and it will feature Johnson collaborating with fellow country superstar Carrie Underwood. After teasing the collaboration between musical heavyweights on social media over the past week, Johnson finally made the official reveal of his duet with Underwood with an Instagram post on Tuesday (September 17), featuring photos of the two country icons standing together at a horsegate with a scenic backdrop, presumably during a music video shoot for their new single. “Thrilled to announce that “I’m Gonna Love You” is coming out next Friday, 9/27,” writes Johnson in the caption. “Thank you @carrieunderwood for joining me on this one and making it so special.
