49 Winchester just released their new album, Escape The Holler, last month, and the Appalachian country sextet is currently touring the U.S. in support of the record. Opening for Tyler Childers this past spring showed the band just how big their star could rise, and how easily their rousing sound transfers to larger venues. “Those two nights at Bridgestone [Arena] were incredible. That was a big one,” the band’s frontman Isaac Gibson says of supporting Childers in Nashville back in April. “It’s something we worked really hard for and pretty tirelessly for a decade to get to where we are today. It wasn’t something that happened overnight.” On Thursday (September 5) the group launched their own headlining tour in Raleigh, North Carolina. (Rolling Stone)
