Loretta Lynn Postpones Shows to Recover From Fall

Loretta Lynn announced that she will have to postpone several upcoming concerts after suffering injuries due to a recent fall.

The legendary singer had a concert scheduled at her Hurricane Mills ranch on Sept. 3 but was unable to perform because she was at home recuperating.

According to Nashville’s Channel 2 local news—who spoke with Loretta’s personal designer, Tim Cobb—Loretta will have to have minor surgery and “she’s in good spirits and she’s anxious to return to the road.”

The following information was posted on the singers website: Lorettalynn.com:

American country music legend Loretta Lynn is at home recuperating from a recent fall that left her unable to perform on Labor Day weekend at her ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.

Although her injuries are not serious, she will be undergoing minor surgery and Loretta’s doctors have advised her to stay off the road until she’s made a full recovery.

Regrettably, Loretta will have to postpone the following shows until further notice:

September 9: Renfro Valley Entertainment, Renfro Valley, KY
September 10: The Harv at the Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort, Newell, WV
September 17: Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, Bristol, TN

Nashcountrydaily.com wishes Loretta a speedy recovery.
